5 Dog Moms We Love

5 Dog Moms We Love

Posted by Brooke Spater on 10th May 2018

In honor of Mother’s Day, we connected with a few of our
favorite Instagram friends who exemplify the Kurgo mission of getting out and enjoying
life together with your dog. They are true adventurers who love spending time
hiking, running, and walking with their dogs. We asked them to share a bit
about what makes their relationship with their pups so special.

JEN FROM @LONGHAULTREKKERS

Sora is my greatest
adventure buddy, trail running companion, and best friend. She gives me
confidence when I feel nervous about doing something outside of my comfort
zone, like a solo backpacking trip and she comforts me when I'm feeling down. I
love that she is always ready to go, all I have to do is show her the leash and
she wags her tail in anticipation of the fun we're about to have. Sora
encourages me to be the best version of myself I can every single day.

HANA FROM @MYCANINELIFE

The best part of being
a dog mom? The sheer utter happiness and excitement followed by tail wags and
kisses that you get when you walk through the front door. Even if you were just
out for 5 minutes to grab the mail. I bet you won't find anyone else in the
world that will give you that kind of unconditional love.

ANGELA FROM @EASTCOASTHERDERS

I call myself Winston, Adelaide, & Decker's
dog mom because I honestly can't imagine any other title. They are always there
for me with a smile and a wagging tail and are a direct reflection of
everything I have put into them over the years. They are always by my side when
I need them most and it is because of them that I have embarked on some of the
best adventures.

LAUREN FROM @PALMETTOMOONPOINTERS

My three boys (Sutton,
Deuce, & Banks!) have taken me on the greatest adventures of my life! We've
hiked and traveled across the country sightseeing 18 states and hiked to the
most incredible views. They're constantly showing me the meaning of courage and
trust, and how to push my limits to become a stronger and better being. But the
best part of a dog is their ability to see beyond even the most ordinary days
and treat them as the best days of their lives. Their happiness always reminds
me that the views and destinations aren't what brings us joy, it's about who we
share it with. I am so blessed to be a dog mom and have these 12 paws blazing
my trail!

AURELIA FROM @OLIVE.THE.AUSSIE.NC

Olive saved me when I
needed saving. She's introduced me to incredible friends I never would've met.
She's taken me on journeys I never would have taken. She's the light of my life
and I can see her love in her eyes. I love being a dog mom.
